Summer Senses, the largest 5* hotel in Paros, which will open its doors for the first time in June 2019, is welcoming in the summer by revitalising the culinary map of the Cycladic Islands in collaboration with Hytra Restaurant.
Located on Paros, one of the most popular destinations in Greece, in one of the island’s most beautiful areas at Marpissa, Summer Senses is a 5* hotel which, as its name suggests, invites guests to experience the iconic Greek summer through all five senses. The scent of the Cyclades, the sound of the waves lapping on the shores, the magical views of the Aegean and its traditional architecture, as well as the touch of the warm island soil speak to all the senses, reaching a climax with the taste of the succulent dishes served at the Galazia Hytra restaurant.
A child of the award-winning Michelin star restaurant Hytra, which has just celebrated its 15th year on the gastronomic map of Athens, Galazia Hytra marks the brand’s first foray outside of the Attica region, signalling a new era for the island of Paros. The restaurant is also a member of the Trasteli Group, which runs some of the most influential restaurants in Greece.
The team of Galazia Hytra will be bringing with it to Paros unique recipes that represent the best of creative Greek cuisine. True to its philosophy of highlighting classic dishes through modern techniques and exceptional raw ingredients, the restaurant transforms Summer Senses into a true culinary destination. The pursuit of perfection, combined with the recognition and love for the rich abundance of the Greek soil, are transported to Summer Senses, where the warm hospitality and welcoming atmosphere provide the foundation for a totally holistic dining experience.
“The unique concept and philosophy of Summer Senses is in complete harmony with Hytra Res-taurant’s values.” said Panos Pantazopoulos, Managing Director of HIP.Hospitality, the hotel management company behind Summer Senses. He added: “This is a very big investment, with a 100-room hotel, the aim of which is to further promote the destination through a premium tourist product so as to become an ambassador of Greek hospitality as a whole. This was the thought behind the partnership of our two brands: the creation of a destination hotel where the visitor, whether Greek or foreign, will have the opportunity to experience every facet of the concept of 5* hospitality, from the warm welcome and comfortable stay to the sophisticated flavours of Galazia Hytra”.
