Free events during the full moon nights, happenings for children and free guided tours in English.
The Maria Callas Museum and the historic Athens Conservatoire invite the public to two special musical evenings with free admission. On July 21 from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM and August 19 from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase their aperitif from the museum café, explore the exhibition spaces, and discover the life and work of the great opera diva. On the third floor, students from the Athens Conservatoire will perform arias and duets, offering attendees an unforgettable musical experience. Come and enjoy two enchanting musical evenings filled with art and melodies, under the full moon, with the impressive backdrop of the Acropolis.
These events continue the academic and artistic collaboration between the Maria Callas Museum and the Athens Conservatoire—where Maria Callas began her studies in 1939—to promote the museum as a venue for training and showcasing new musicians.
The program is directed by Philippos Tsalahouris, the Director of the Music Schools of the Athens Conservatoire.
