Randolph’s Rock Icons – the rock and roll memories of a Windsor boy
The Windsor-born portrait photographer Michael Randolph is now 66 – so he was the perfect age for the Swinging Sixties. Among his friends in his youth were rising stars like the Beatles, the Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Doors – all of whom he was to photograph later. He was also the stills photographer on the films Performance, Clockwork Orange – and the 1968 Rock and Roll Circus, made for the BBC but never aired. You can see an exhibition of his work at the Windsor library until this weekend.
