Stavros Pamballis’ first feature, Siege on Liperti Street, awarded in Thessaloniki International Film Festival, makes its world premiere at Viva.gr and will be online for four days in February 2021. A contemporary urban western which takes place near the Green Line of Nicosia, starring Constantine Markoulakis, Daphne Alexander, Akilas Karazisis and Niovi Charalampous.
You can now enjoy the film by the comfort of your home with English subtitles, at 19-22/02/2021.
It is the first time that a Greek film will open online, aiming at an international audience.

STAVROS PAMBALLIS – BIO
A Fulbright Scholar and a Sundance Fellow, Stavros holds a BFA in Film Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an MFA in Screenwriting from the London Film School.
His first feature as a screenwriter, the multi-award winning Shirley Adams, was an official selection at major international festivals including Locarno, Toronto and London, where it was nominated for the Sutherland Trophy. His second, Turbulence, was directed by two-time BAFTA award winner Michael B Clifford. His third, Boy On the Bridge, premiered internationally at the 2016 Rome International Film Festival.
The Siege on Liperti Street is his debut as a Writer-Director.
An alumni of the Berlin Film Festival Talent Campus, the Binger Film Lab, the Sundance Mediterranean Writer’s Lab and the Working Title Filmmakers’ Residency, Stavros is represented worldwide by Casarotto Ramsay and Associates, one of London’s most renowned literary and film agencies.
