A few days ago, the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla celebrated her 75th birthday in a small circle celebration, in the garden of her home, eating peaches and drinking tea. In order to honor her, the Palace presented publicly a new portrait of her, in which we noticed a greek element!
In this new portrait, the future Queen Consort, is depicted cheerful and beaming at the garden of her home, in Ray Mill House of Wiltshire. Camilla, having in her arms her beloved dog, leisurely enjoys the tea time inside a beautiful scenery full of green that surrounds her. She is wearing a floral, light dress in blue hues, when a bowl with fresh peaches- one of her favorite desserts- and the handmade cup of tea in blue hues of the hand-painted Kyma collection of the Greek designer, Themis Z., are been displaying in front of her.
The new picture of the Duchess of Cornwall released to the public on Sunday 17th of July and the news were quickly spread to the world, with BBC and CNN making comments about the portrait’s aesthetic and the cordial movement on behalf of the Palace. The wife of Prince Charles, Camilla also received warm wishes from the Royal family, which lately has embraced her, considering her a valued member. And this is proven by the fact that they released a beautiful photo, which is going to remain in history.

We, on the other hand, couldn’t overlook the fact that a greek element, something that makes us so proud, as the designer herself, was so obvious to this famous portrait! It’s not the first time that Themis Zouganelis (Themis Z.) impresses with her handmade creations. The Greek designer has lived an eclectic life and as a result of that her images have been reflected in the captivating prints of her Lifestyle brand, which she retains many years now. Powered by her life in Athens, her beautiful summers in Mykonos island, but mostly by her family history and heritage, Themis Z. honors Greece with the most tasteful way, enchanting even the Royals. A note of elegance in the hues of Aegean and an exquisite aesthetic that flies you away.
The Greek designer Themis Zouganelis (Themis Z.) with a laconic announcement thanked the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, for choosing her handmade set of tea cups from the Kyma collection.
“We couldn’t be more proud as greek brand name for Duchess Cornwall’s personal choice of our handmade set cup of tea from our Kyma collection and for the opportunity to be part of an emblematic portrait that will remain forever in Royal history”.
